Meet Our Diamond Endowed Scholarship Sponsor ($214,000 and above)
“As a former teacher and business owner, I’m acutely aware of the impact of education on women’s eventual success and self-esteem. Offering substantial scholarship help to women of non-traditional student age fosters economic independence that benefits individuals, their families, and entire communities. This worthy mission inspired the Diamond Endowed Scholarship Fund of $100,000 in 2000 and sustains my continued investment in the Colorado Women’s Education Foundation.” – Carol Grever.
We owe a great deal of gratitude to our Diamond Endowed Scholarship Sponsor, Carol Grever, who has been one of the bedrocks of our foundation for many years. With a generous scholarship fund of $100,000 in 2000, Carol has inspired us to continue our mission of offering substantial scholarship support to women of non-traditional student age. Her continued investment in the Colorado Women’s Education Foundation has enabled us to support many more deserving women in their pursuit of education.
Carol’s unwavering commitment to our cause has been truly remarkable. In addition to her initial donation, she has made additional scholarship contributions in late 2013 and spring 2015, 2016, and 2021. Carol has also included CWEF as a partial beneficiary of her Charitable Remainder Unitrust. Furthermore, she has been a dedicated supporter of our work on Colorado Gives Day, donating every December from 2016 through 2021.
