Thank you for your interest in serving as a scholarship evaluator for the Colorado Women’s Education Foundation (CWEF). Evaluators play a vital role in advancing our mission of investing in women who are transforming their lives through education.

Since 1976, CWEF has awarded more than 800 scholarships to women pursuing economic self-sufficiency through education. As our impact grows, so does the number of applicants seeking support. For 2025, we received more than 400 applications, and we rely on dedicated evaluators like you to ensure a fair, compassionate, and mission-aligned selection process.
Evaluator Responsibilities

Reviewing training materials and understanding the scoring criteria

Scoring each assigned application

Providing brief summary comments to support scoring

Offering feedback on the evaluation process, to help us evolve and improve

As an evaluator, you bring valuable lived experience, professional insight, and perspective to the scholarship review process. Your thoughtful assessments help us identify resilient, motivated women striving to achieve academic and career success.
